Take a trip to the islands while you color in these these tropical scenes from Okami Books.
There are 40 one-sided page with moderately detailed drawings of tropical beaches, pirate ships, sunken treasure and more. There are plenty of open spaces for people who like a little more room to color in. Some folks are disappointed if there is not a high level of detail, but others prefer slightly less demanding illustrations. This book is for the latter approach. There's enough detail to fill out the sceens and to make them interesting, but it won't take you hours to fill in thousands of tiny individual spaces, either.
The book is relatively large at 8.5" x 11" and the images are horizontal (landscape view). This puts the binding at the top while you are coloring, making it especially accessible to left-handed colorists. All the drawings are full page with a consistent style by the same artist.
The paper is a little on the thin side. It's fine for colored pencils, but be sure to use a backing sheet behind the page you are working on if you like to use pens or markers (or if you're a little heavy handed with your pencils).
